There is none holy as the Lord.
There is none, besides Him.
Neither is there any Rock like our God.
There is none holy as the Lord

We are living in a time when if we’re not IN LOVE with our God -- so much so that we have no where else we want to turn -- we won’t be able to stand.  God woke me up this morning with these words.

“Holiness and Godly behavior is only produced when we are IN LOVE with our Savior.  It is never a product of the law.  And even if man could have kept the law (which he couldn’t) the law would not produce holiness.  That’s why Jesus had to come.”

True holiness only comes out of an intimate, love relationship with the King of Glory, Jesus Christ.  It’s only when we are so in love with Him -- the God of our Salvation – the one who died that we might be saved, that our desire becomes to do and to be HIS desire, and that, alone, creates in us the character of Jesus Christ, along with our commitment to do HIS will in our lives, come what may.  Our love for Him is reflected in our behaviors, our lifestyle, our “want to’s,” and our love one for another.

We are, indeed, living in those perilous times spoken of in the Word which says that “men’s hearts will fail them.”  We have talked to numerous men and women of God in just the last few weeks who are questioning their own salvation.  They say things like, “I can teach the Word, and I can tell others how they should act and respond, but I can’t do it myself.”  “I’m just not worthy; I’ve never been worthy.”  “I’ll never preach or teach again.”

These men and women of God have taught and ministered the Word of God to huge numbers of people, large congregations, small congregations and those in between.  They’re not new to the ministry, and yet as they see their world changing, they find they can’t stand.  They feel like their losing their minds.  Many have lost loved ones and just can’t face going on.  Some have even “demanded” that God send their loved one back!  Others are facing life alone because their spouse has decided they’re “not cut out to be a pastor’s wife.”  And their responses have all been, “I don’t know if I was ever called.”  “I don’t know why God would have sent his son to die for someone like me.”

These are men and women who have been FULL of the Word.  They’ve experienced the miraculous in their ministries, and yet now they question if it’s real or they're even saved.

There is only one way that you and I will be able to stand in the face of crisis and devastation in our lives, and continue to hold tight to the only One that can save us, and that’s when we “fall in love” with Jesus Christ.  Head knowledge just isn’t enough, and if that’s all you’ve got, you can expect to be overcome yourself.

Love is a choice.  We must CHOOSE to put our faith and trust in HIM.  That comes when we realize that the World has nothing to offer us, and that means that we embrace him as our husband – as our friend that sticketh closer than a brother – as the one who gave His very life for us.

It may sound difficult, but when you really believe that there is NOTHING ELSE in this world of any eternal value, it gets easier.

Don’t let this scenario become your story.  The Word says that “in this world there will be tribulation,” so you need to expect it.  Life is going to deliver some extreme pain and difficult circumstances that will try your very sanity, but He has also given you His promise that He will NEVER leave you nor forsake you, and He will NEVER give you more than you can bear.

We need each other now, more than ever before.  This is when we must reach out and support each other, opening our homes and hearts to those who need a place to run to.  Examine your heart and make sure your answer is “Welcome home, we always have room for one more glass at the table,” because the day may soon come when you’re the one who needs the hand and heart extended, offering safety and security with your eternal family today, in this life.
God bless you as you travel this incredible road of music ministry, and if we can pray for you or give you any guidance - which will simply be our opinion based on our own experiences -- please don't hesitate to contact us, either by phone at 870-741-1407 or at  This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
