Creating Business Assets

A business item contains the business data that is used by the business system to process a transaction. A business item can also contain aliases, which are simplified representations of fields defined in the underlying business object. The aliases help users recognize the underlying business object and provide a link to that business object. A business item can also have a status that specifies the actions that can be taken on the item.

The status that can be taken on a business item is determined by the configuration set up for the business system. A status determines which functions are available for the business item and which partners can use them. The status that is most relevant for an item depends on the use case, for example, whether a business item can be used to enter payment terms that deviate from the ones at header level.

Using the Configuration Management tool, you can create different statuses that are specific to your business needs and assign them to individual business items. You can then use the statuses to control the actions that are available for a business item and which partners can use them.후토마끼창업

When creating a business item, you can define which of the business objects that it is based on by selecting a business object or WSDL message from the list. You can also specify if the business item is a text, value, or packaging item, for instance. This determines which calculations, such as weight and volume, are performed for the business item. You can also select the checkbox relevant for delivery to indicate that the item is relevant for the creation of schedule lines in the order document.

You can also set up an indicator for the business item that indicates whether it is a service item or a catalog item. This is useful if you want to manage the items in your catalog in the business system but do not want to include them in the sales orders that you generate for customers. For more information, see Work with Catalog Items.창업아이템

A business asset is a physical product that is owned by a company for its own use or to be offered for sale. Generally, products that are consumed or consumed by individuals or households for personal satisfaction are classified as consumer goods; however, it can be difficult to categorize certain goods as either consumer or business products. For example, flour that is bought by a supermarket for sale to consumers is classified as a consumer good; on the other hand, if it is purchased by a bakery to make pastries for its own customers, it is considered a business good.
